The European Union has confirmed it is going to introduce strict anti-money laundering guidelines that can ban privacy-focused cryptocurrencies and nameless digital asset accounts beginning in 2027.

The brand new guidelines fall beneath the Anti-Cash Laundering Regulation (AMLR).
